This is what Coudal had to say:
We know Kate Bingaman-Burt better than we know a lot of people that we have actually met. We have seen most of the things Kate has purchased over the past few years and that can tell you a lot about a person. Kate's practice of drawing a picture of something she buys every day has been well documented, in the New York Times Magazine and lots of other places and we're proud to say we have an original drawing of Kate's September 2004 Chase credit card statement framed in our studio (she owed $7039.24 at that time). For this Swap Meat Exclusive Kate has a handcrafted a book of all her daily drawings between February 5th 2006 (gas at BP) and June 20th 2007 (a bingo card).
Swap Meat Exclusive: Available For Purchase

I have been wanting to get this book since it came out, but for some reason I wanted to buy it in a bookstore instead of ordering it online. Don't ask, I have no idea why I made that demand on our poor little barnes and noble in starkville which only FINALLY received this book. They didn't even display it with the new books. They slipped the two yellow copies right on the normal fiction shelf. I get a faculty discount too, so I saved 10%. I know if I had ordered it online I would have saved more, but again, I made the deal to myself that I would buy it in the store.
I haven't been able to read it yet. Only photograph it and draw it.

I went to the university print shop and saw scott
about buying some paper for my zines. he hooked me up with some very nice pink and orange card stock. He even cut it down for me on the massive cutter. Thanks Scott!
so excited about this! They are great bags, hold a ton of food AND they are only 99 cents. They also have really nice square bottoms that sit up really well in our car.
check out a post about the bags coming to starkville HERE brought to you by What’s Up, Starkville?

my office at school is totally wasted. I really need to attend to it, but I am preoccupied with producing a special edition obsessive consumption gift pack for Coudal Partners SWAP MEAT. So, the cleaning and organizing must wait while I crank out some awesome that will be for sale SOON. Right now the edition will be 75 of a very special zine, two prints, some buttons and other sundry goods that will all be housed in a lovely crystal clear plastic bag. oh! and love, there will be lots of love inside the bag too. You can't put a price on this, yo.
The above picture is of some trophies that I have been collecting for modification so that the student MSU AIGA can give them away as awards at the next student design invitational. HOLLA!

I still need to properly photograph the 16 pillows that were created last week, but they will be going in the store soon along with the March, April and May issues of What Did You Buy Today?

I do love this magazine. The last time I did a did a drawing of Teen Vogue it happened to be the April Prom issue. They were both purchased at the same thrift store for a quarter as well. Total coincidence, I swear.

We have been traveling a ton. We filled up for the last time at the Cold Water, MS BP outside of Memphis. BP's are everywhere. EVERYWHERE!

Mcdonald's salads are my new favorite fast food item while traveling. I had FOUR over the past two weeks.

We found a big box of old bingo cards at the central city, nebraksa thrift store. They were 25 cents. It was such a good thrift store. I also found a bunch of fabric and some gold sequin rick rack.
